Editing Connectors

Introduction​

Connectors are editable to handle business logic, data quality rules, or other required adjustments.

Purpose​

Connectors allow you to customize the field mappings and build logic via rules and conditions.

Step By Step​

  1. Click the “Edit” button next to a mapped field. edit mapping button

  2. The Edit Mapping Dialog appears edit mapping button

  3. Change or adjust the mapped properties within the connector

  4. Choose a rule type:

    • Copy field
    • Conditional logic
    • Transformation (e.g., uppercase, math)

  5. Use basic options for adjustments:

    • Handle nulls edit check for nulls

    • Add example values as context edit context and example values

  6. Use advanced options for adjustments:

    • Custom transformations edit a custom transformation

    • Create a conditional transformation edit a custom conditional transformation

  7. Write a Custom Rule in natural language. Add your conditions in English for various scenarios edit a custom natural language condition

  8. If needed, use Raw Prompt to pass full instruction to AI (admins only). edit a custom raw prompt

  9. For each rule, you can review the natural language instructions that will be sent to process the mapping review your custom prompt

  10. When your mapping adjustments are complete, click "Save"
